A giant Chinese menu, very authentic, and though they have lots of meat they also have lots of vegetarian options including a completely vegetarian Mapo Tofu and good vegetable dumplings.

Green Bo is a pretty famous place in Chinatown but generally for their non-vegetarian dishes, so this is the place I usually take my non-vegetarian friends who want Chinese food where I know I will also have a lot of choices and the food will be good. The famous thing to eat here are a Shanghai delicacy called soup dumplings, but alas they have no vegetarian version at this restaurant. That being said they do have plenty of tasty vegetarian options such as scallion pancakes, cold sesame noodles, and mapo tofu without pork. Other vegetable dishes like sauteed bok choy or asparagus abound. These options are more often than not vegan, but if you are super-strict you'll want to be careful and ask about eggs, dairy is usually not something you need to worry about in a Chinese place. So the food is good, prices are cheap especially for the veg options, however to enjoy the room and service you'll have to be a fan of the authentic Chinese experience. At busy times, you'll probably get seated at a communal table as there are not many tables to go around. Also there can occasionally be a wait on the weekends, but you can take that as a reassurance of the quality of the food. Finally, the service is hit or miss. It is generally on the minimal side, but hey, that's China/Chinatown for you. The food comes out reasonably fast anyway and that's the important part, just don't be shy about saying something if you want to get the waiter's attention.
